Williams Night Rodeo: A Starry-Eyed Summer Tradition in the Wild West

Looking for a summer evening that packs in adrenaline, cowboy charm, and small-town magic? Welcome to the Williams Night Rodeo—an event that’s quickly become one of Northern Arizona’s must-see traditions.

Born from the Heart of the West

Launched in 2024, the Williams Night Rodeo was created by the Keith Cattle Company with a simple but powerful mission: to bring the community together and celebrate the heritage of the American West. And just like a good story passed down through generations, it took off fast.

Now entering its second season, this grassroots event has already earned a loyal following of locals and visitors alike. It’s not just a rodeo—it’s a Friday and Saturday night ritual under the stars.

Where the Action Happens

Held at the Williams Rodeo Grounds at 750 N. Airport Rd., this is where the spirit of the Old West comes alive each weekend in July and August, starting July 11th. You’ll feel it the moment you walk in: the buzz of anticipation, vendors selling delicious snacks and refreshments, and the wide-eyed wonder of kids seeing their first bull ride.

What You’ll See (and Feel)

From heart-pounding bull riding to lightning-fast barrel racing and precision team roping, the Williams Night Rodeo brings the full spectrum of rodeo action. But this event isn’t just about the competition—it’s about community.

The Williams Night Rodeo brings the arena to life with action-packed events that honor the heart of the West and the close-knit community that makes it all possible. The lineup of events includes:

  • Bareback Riding
  • Bronc Riding
  • Ranch Broncs
  • Girls Breakaway
  • Saddle Broncs
  • Girls Barrels
  • Bull Riding

Expect to hear laughter, cheers, and maybe even a few “Yeehaws!” as families, couples, and road-trippers soak up the action. With local food vendors, exclusive memorabilia, and a festive atmosphere, it’s a Western block party with a whole lot of grit and heart.

More Than a Sport—A Celebration

What makes this rodeo special isn’t just the dust and drama in the arena—it’s the people in the stands. Ranchers and tourists sit side-by-side. Kids wave at rodeo queens. Friends reconnect over funnel cakes and root beer floats.

It’s a place where stories are shared, traditions are honored, and visitors get a true taste of cowboy culture in one of the most iconic towns on Route 66.
