As you travel down America’s highway, you’re going to have to refuel – both literally and figuratively. This converted gas and service station, complete with a sleek black 1967 Pontiac GTO mural outside, is now a spacious beer and wine tasting room thanks to three former Boeing employees. If you’re looking for one of the biggest and best brewpubs in northern Arizona, then head down the Mother Road from Williams to Flagstaff to sample their Daily Driver Low Octane IPA or Upland Orange, one of the craft breweries refreshing limited releases. And if you want to grab a bite while laying back with your family (or well-behaved dog), visit the brewery’s food trailer, which serves delicious barbecue food and tacos that pair perfectly with whatever is on tap. It’s worth the 30-minute trip down east. 

Drinking Horn Meadery

If you’d like to try something different than your usual pale ale or lager, then this meadery just 30 minutes east of Willaims is for you. Located on Route 66, you can sample this small-batch environmentally responsible mead (fermented honey water) infused with strawberry, passion fruit, and mango. It’s a little stronger than your typical brew, but these refreshing beverages pair well with your favorite hard cheese or pork meal.
