Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Huskies, Samoyeds, and Malamutes will be in town for the weekend. If you have a love of dogs and want to learn more about sled dog racing then don’t miss out on this opportunity to meet the Arizona Mountain Mushers.
Get a behind-the-scenes chance to meet the stars that make it happen! Spectators will have the opportunity to meet and greet the dogs, pet them, hear their stories, and take pictures. The Meet and Greet will take place on Saturday, February 16th from 3pm to 5pm at the Williams Forest Service and Visitor Center Parking lot.
After the Meet and Greet, join the mushers for dinner at 5:30pm. Pine Country Restaurant will be open to the public. Make sure to save room for a slice of delicious homemade pie.
The movie “Snow Dogs” will be showing at the Sultana Theater at 7pm on Saturday, February 16th. Enjoy this hilarious action-packed comedy your whole family will love. Tickets will be available at the Sultana Theater starting at 6pm. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for kids age 12 and under. Popcorn, candy, and beverages will be available for purchase.
Looking for some action-packed fun? Cheer on these canine athletes as they compete in a weight pull competition. Weight will be increased in 40lb increments and the dogs must pull 16ft in 1 minute. Dogs will be awarded best overall in 60-80 lb, 80-100 lb, and 100+ lb weight classes. The Weight Pull Competition will be held at the Williams and Forest Service parking lot on Sunday, February 17th from 11am to 2pm.
