Sample Trip #1

Day 1-

• Arrive in Williams
• Stop at the Visitor Center for maps, area information, and suggestions
• Stroll along Route 66
• Purchase your handmade leather boots, saddle or belt to take home
• Book your adventure on the Grand Canyon Railway
• Enjoy lunch along Route 66
• Check into your Bed & Breakfast, Hotel or Motel and enjoy the quiet of Williams

Day 2-

• Depart for the Grand Canyon Railway
• Return and enjoy dinner at one of many restaurant choices serving Mexican, pizza, home cooking, fine dining, or a western dinner show

Day 3-

• Visit the Deer Farm or Bearizona to get up close and personal with nature
• Buy your Route 66 souvenirs and make plans to return for Alpine Harvest Festival next Fall

Day 1-

• Arrive in Williams
• Stop at the Visitor Center for maps, area information and suggestions
• Pick out your spot to watch the lighting of the tree for Mountain Village Holiday
• Put on your cozy pajamas and get ready for the Polar Express

Day 2-

• Enjoy breakfast in downtown Williams
• Have a snow ball fight
• Stroll Route 66 and get ready for Christmas lights galore!
• Enjoy a lovely dinner and a cup of hot chocolate

Day 3-

• Drive to the Grand Canyon and see what it looks like with a fine layer of snow
• Make plans to return in the summer when you can hike, swim, fish and play outside

Day 1-

• Pick up a picnic lunch and hit the trails to bike or hike
• Check in at your lodging choice and relax after a scenic day on the trails

Day 2-

• Enjoy a hearty breakfast and hit the Elephant Rocks Golf Course
• Stop in on Route 66 for a cold one and a burger, fries and a piece of homemade pie
• Watch the shootout on Route 66

Day 3-

• Get your postcards out and write about the historic experience you had in Williams, Arizona and invite your friends to visit
• Make plans to return and see Williams in another season
